Designer Labels

In the world of fashion and apparel, designers develop and promote their brand names with advertising and marketing.  Once a designer name is established, retailers or brokers work with designers.  They seek out cut-and-sew manufacturers (like Aetna) to produce the garments, assure quality standards are met, and then intitiate production.  Most cut-and-sew production sources are off-shore, where labor rates are lower than in the United States, but more and more, aspiring designers and apparel marketers are looking to domestic manufacturers in order to "re-shore" production in the U.S.

In the past, Aetna has served as cut-and-sew manufacturer for a number of major designer labels, including Adolfo, After Hours, Joseph A Bank, Bill Blass, Halston, Kenneth J. Lane, Nicole Miller, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Tallia Uomo.  Although product was made for these labels some time ago (the 1970s through the 1990s), Aetna survived through the years when little product was manufactured domestically, and we can make shirts for you to similar high-quality standards.
